The Covert Paradox

At the outset I must state that these ideas are mine & may well sound radical even extremist but they are ideas that have come to me over my lifetime & I accept responsibility for them completely.  To say such things one stands naked before God in the sense of “who can say such things”. 

My defence is that this world does not impress me as wise, rather; ignorant, not modern but rather, as foolish and arrogant, as any ignorant time before us. This is the world that votes in strange leaders or allows other tyrants to take over, Hitler is an obvious case, but many recent nations have conducted very unethical national practices that have been condoned by the majority, or the fearful. 

This is a world that could bring itself numerous times to a point of nuclear destruction & a populace that defends this but would never take responsibility for this on a personal basis, we add extreme barbarism over centuries & ongoing.  Hence I say we live in a world that has  very, very limited manifest spirituality. 

Covert Paradox Outlined: 

A. Divine Innocence

1. This means that God accepts all in his world. This is way beyond our usual comprehension. This transcends the worldly notions of justice, judgement & punishment. I see this as also beyond the notion of Karma. It is the idea that regardless of actions the Divine treats you as innocent, in his world. It is only the world that is incapable of such acceptance & this contributes to the problems in the world. This is not condoning bad behaviour but ultimate acceptance of the individual at a spiritual level.
2. We have a soul which is buried under all of this but exists & on rare occasions makes itself known. But it is us.
3.  We have an unconscious that is with us always and has great wisdom.
4. God, soul & the unconscious are not necessarily mutally exclusive.

1.  Over 1000s of years mankind (& it was mostly ‘man’) believed in any amount of  ignorance in all religions and philosophies. How could any religion kill others in the name of God?
2. Then we have modernity the idea that one must produce, win & gain competitively to ‘make something of ourselves’.
3. Then we have the effects of all of this on us as the growing child & the negative effects of parenting, schooling and society at large.
4. Then we have dynamic variations of consciousness, experience & awareness, always changing & often amnesic from one point to another.

1. Despite all this we need to act, in ‘the foreground’. Things of a simple nature like gaining a living need to be done.
2. Also there are complex activities like deciding what to do in life, gaining employment or not, marrriage or not & what values to adopt.
3. Also we have the spiritual or not! Even if one is atheistic this still is a spiritual decison on life at the existential level.
